Aman-Jean, Edmond-Francois. Beatrix, Ca 1892. Color lithograph, on Linen. 49 x 30 inches. Aman-Jean was influenced by the Symbolist poets Stéphane Mallarmé and Paul Verlaine. In 1892 and 1893 he showed at the Salons de la Rose + Croix. Bedsides producing oil paintings, Aman-Jean was also a a prolific pastellist and printmaker. |
